Mission Statement

E & C Literacy’s mission is to provide Rio Grande Valley parents, teachers, and children with multiple sources of support in early literacy that will increase parental engagement at home and improve literacy skills in children.

Our Story

E & C Literacy has been in operation since 2022 and is a 501 (c)3 nonprofit in The Rio Grande Valley that advocates for early childhood learning, by providing multiple sources of support in early literacy that will increase parental engagement and improve literacy skills in children. E & C Literacy was founded by a teacher during the pandemic and is the only nonprofit organization in the RGV that strives to help close the “literacy delay” by providing parents with unlimited training's, printables, and books throughout the school year. Founder Leticia Rosalez, understands the needs and concerns parents and teachers may have regarding literacy development in children following the COVID pandemic, as she empowers parents with the knowledge and skills they need to help their child become literacy ready.
